β›³ Fortuna High Girls Golf Competes at Eureka Municipal Golf Course

Oct. 1st, 2026 β€’ Eureka Municipal Golf Course

The Fortuna High Girls Golf team traveled to Eureka Municipal Golf Course for another tournament, joining golfers from around the Humboldt-Del Norte League (HDN) for a day on the greens.

The morning started cloudy and overcast, with gray skies hanging over the course. As the tournament progressed, the clouds eventually gave way to sunshine, turning the afternoon into a beautiful day for golf.

The weather wasn’t the only challenge, though. Mosquitoes were out in full force, giving the golfers one more thing to deal with as they worked their way around the course!

Despite the distractions, the Fortuna Huskies put together a strong showing, demonstrating their skills, patience, and focus throughout the tournament.

Golf requires concentration, consistency, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. Each tournament gives the Fortuna High golfers another opportunity to improve their game, gain competitive experience, and represent their school alongside other athletes from across the region.

From cloudy skies to sunshine (and plenty of mosquitoes), it was another memorable day on the course for the Fortuna High Girls Golf team.

πŸ’™πŸ€ Great job, Huskies! Keep swinging! πŸΎβ›³
