🏐 Fortuna High Volleyball Hosts Ferndale at Damon Gym

The Fortuna High JV and Varsity Volleyball teams welcomed the Ferndale Wildcats to Damon Gym on September 1 for an evening of early-season volleyball.

The JV teams opened the night at 5:30 p.m., with the Fortuna Huskies battling Ferndale in two sets. The Wildcats came away with the 2–0 victory before the varsity teams took the court.

At 6:30 p.m., Fortuna High Varsity faced Ferndale in a competitive four-set match. The Huskies battled throughout the evening, but the Wildcats ultimately earned the victory in four sets to complete the sweep.

Despite the results, the home matchup gave both Fortuna High squads valuable early-season court time and another opportunity to compete together in front of the Husky crowd.

There is plenty of volleyball still ahead as the Fortuna Huskies continue through the 2026 fall season.
