On Friday, May 29th, family, friends, staff, and community members gathered on Husky Field to celebrate the graduates of Fortuna High School and East High School as they crossed the stage and completed an important chapter of their lives.
With the bleachers filled with proud supporters, the ceremony featured student speeches reflecting on the experiences, challenges, friendships, and memories that shaped the Class of 2026. Graduates were recognized for their hard work and perseverance as they received their diplomas and prepared for the next stage of their journeys.
Following the ceremony, graduates had the opportunity to take individual portraits with their diplomas in front of the floral graduation ring, creating a special keepsake to commemorate the occasion. Smiles, laughter, and celebration filled the field as students reflected on their accomplishments and looked ahead to the future.
Graduation marks both an ending and a beginningβa chance to reflect on years of growth while looking ahead to new opportunities, adventures, and goals.
