It was a special evening for the Fortuna High Boys Soccer team on Tuesday, October 13, as the Huskies celebrated Senior Night 2026 with their families, friends, and teammates before taking on Ferndale High School in their final league home game of the season.

The evening was about more than soccer. It was an opportunity to recognize the seniors who have spent their high school years representing Fortuna High, building friendships, and creating memories on the field.

💙 Honoring Our Senior Huskies

Before the game, each senior was recognized on the field alongside their family and friends. As they stepped forward, the announcer shared a personal message from each player, reflecting on their high school soccer experience.

The messages included future plans, favorite memories, and heartfelt thank-yous to the coaches, teammates, family members, and friends who supported them throughout their soccer careers.

For many of these students, soccer has been a significant part of their time at Fortuna High. Senior Night gave everyone a chance to recognize their dedication and celebrate the people who helped them along the way.

🏆 Huskies Finish Their Home League Schedule with a Shutout

Following the Senior Night recognition, the Fortuna Huskies took the field against Ferndale High School and delivered a commanding 6–0 victory.

Fortuna’s offense found the back of the net six times, while the defense kept Ferndale off the scoreboard. It was a fitting way to close out the team’s league home schedule and give the seniors one more victory to celebrate on their home field.

📸 One Last Home League Game, Plenty of Memories

Our Fortuna High Photo & Design photographers were there to capture the Senior Night ceremony, the families and friends celebrating alongside their seniors, and the action from the game.

While the scoreboard showed a 6–0 win, the evening was really about the students who have dedicated so much of their time to the Fortuna High soccer program.

Congratulations to the Class of 2027 Boys Soccer seniors! Thank you for the years of hard work, leadership, and memories you’ve given the Fortuna Huskies. We wish you the very best in whatever comes next.

💙🤍 Once a Husky, always a Husky! 🐾⚽
