🏈 Fortuna High Football Through the Lens of Our Student Photographers

Fall 2026 β€’ Fortuna High School

Photos by Fortuna High Photo & Design Students

There’s a lot happening on the football field during a Fortuna High game, and some of the best moments are being captured by our own students!

Throughout the 2026 Fortuna Huskies football season, students from the Fortuna High Photo & Design program have been checking out our professional camera equipment and heading out to photograph games, practices, and everything happening around the field.

From tackles and touchdowns to sideline celebrations, warmups, and the quieter moments between plays, these student photographers have been documenting the season from their own perspectives.

πŸ“Έ Learning Photography Beyond the Classroom

One of the best ways to learn photography is to get out and actually do it. Football provides plenty of challenges, with fast-moving subjects, changing lighting conditions, and moments that happen in a split second.

By borrowing equipment from our Photo & Design program, students get hands-on experience using professional cameras and telephoto lenses in real sporting environments.

They’re learning to anticipate action, track moving subjects, work with camera settings, and find interesting compositions. Some students are photographing from the sidelines during games, while others are documenting practices and the work that happens long before Friday night.

Each photographer brings a different perspective, and that’s what makes this collection interesting. The images aren’t just about the final score. They tell the story of the players, coaches, teammates, and moments that make up a football season.

🐾 A Season Through Student Eyes

This gallery brings together photographs taken by various Fortuna High students throughout the fall football season. It’s a growing collection of their work and an opportunity to recognize the creativity and effort happening behind the cameras.

We’re proud of our football players out on the field and equally proud of the student photographers learning to document their stories.

Take a look through their images and see Fortuna Huskies football from a different perspective!

πŸ’™πŸ€ Great work, Huskies β€” both on the field and behind the camera! πŸΎπŸ“Έ
