October 26–30, 2026 β€’ Photo & Design Studio, AB-3

Things are getting creepy at Fortuna High as the Photo & Design classroom transforms into our annual Halloweek Photo Studio! This year, we’ve gone a little further into the strange and spooky, creating four different Halloween-themed photography stations for students to explore throughout the week.

Our Fortuna Huskies are invited to stop by Room AB-3 throughout Halloweek, grab a costume, bring some friends, and step into one (or all four) of our creepy creations.

πŸ‘» Four Stations of Halloween Madness

This year’s studio features four unique photography setups, each with its own atmosphere and opportunities for some unforgettable portraits.

  • The Flesh Trees: A twisted forest of unsettling trees, perfect for creepy characters and mysterious encounters.
  • Creepy Dolls & Red Background: An eerie collection of dolls against a bold red backdrop. Equal parts disturbing and strangely entertaining.
  • The Medieval Throne: Take your place on the throne and become a sinister king, queen, or creature from another time.
  • The Hanging Skeletons: A collection of suspended skeletons creating the perfect setting for some haunting Halloween portraits.

Whether you’re going for genuinely terrifying, hilariously ridiculous, or something in between, there’s plenty of room to get creative.

πŸ“Έ Behind the Scenes with Photo & Design

The Halloweek Photo Studio is more than just an opportunity to dress up and take pictures. It’s also a hands-on learning experience for our Fortuna High Photo & Design students, who are responsible for bringing the studio to life.

Throughout the week, our student photographers and designers help manage all four stations, operate the cameras and lighting equipment, provide costumes and props, guide visitors through the different sets, and edit the finished photographs.

From welcoming students at the door to helping them find the perfect pose, our Photo & Design team gets real-world experience in photography, creative direction, studio management, and working with clients.

And with a steady stream of Huskies visiting throughout the day, there’s never a shortage of interesting characters wandering through AB-3!

The Halloweek Photo Studio is open throughout the school day during Halloweek, October 26–30, in Room AB-3.

Bring your friends, try out our costumes, explore the four stations, and let our student photographers capture your Halloween spirit.
