💃 Fortuna High Latin Dance Raises Funds for Folklórico Club

Fortuna High students filled Logan Gym with music, dancing, lights, and plenty of energy for the Fortuna High Latin Dance, a special fundraiser supporting the Fortuna High Folklórico Club.

DJ Pachanguero kept the party moving throughout the night with Latin music and a colorful light show that transformed the gym into a dance floor. There were bubbles, balloons, limbo, and even a special appearance from “Bad Bunny” — or at least someone who looked suspiciously like him behind the mask.

Students could take a break from dancing for snacks and drinks, including chocoflan and tres leches cake, with proceeds from the evening helping support Fortuna High Folklórico.

The Fortuna High Photo & Design competitive photography team — Kahlia, Riley, and Rebecca — was also there documenting the night. The student photographers captured candid moments on the dance floor while running a photo studio featuring twinkle lights and tulle, giving students a place to pose with friends and create another memory from the evening.

Between the music, food, photo studio, activities, and packed dance floor, the Latin Dance was a fun night for Fortuna High students while helping support the Huskies who share traditional Folklórico dance and culture with our school and community.
