🏈 Fortuna Huskies Open Season with 41–6 Win Over St. Helena

The Fortuna High Huskies opened the 2026 football season in a big way, defeating the St. Helena Saints 41–6 under the lights at Husky Field.

Fortuna High wasted little time getting started. The Huskies jumped out to a 20–0 lead in the first quarter, setting the tone early in front of the home crowd. The strong start carried through the rest of the night as Fortuna controlled the game on both sides of the ball and earned its first victory of the new season.

The Huskies found plenty of success on the ground. Brice Pancoast led the rushing attack with 78 yards and a touchdown, while William Shaw added 60 rushing yards and a score.

The 41–6 victory moved Fortuna High to 1–0 on the season and continued the Huskies’ success at home, marking their sixth consecutive victory at Husky Field dating back to last season.

It was a great way to welcome Friday night football back to Fortuna High and start another season of Husky football.
