Creeks Club + Fortuna High AMP
Recycling only works when we put the right things in the right bins! Fortuna High’s Creeks Club is helping make recycling around campus easier, and students from our AMP — Art, Media & Production class created a short video to show what belongs in our recycling and what needs to stay out.

♻️ YES — Recycle These
The biggest thing to remember: items should be empty and reasonably clean before going into the recycling.
🚫 NO — Keep These Out
When trash, food, or other non-recyclable materials end up in a recycling bin, they can contaminate the recycling and make the work of sorting and collecting it much harder.
🌎 Creeks Club at Fortuna High
Fortuna High’s Creeks Club helps lead recycling efforts around campus. Students collect recycling after school and also participate in campus cleanups and other activities focused on taking care of our school and local environment.
You don’t have to be a Creeks Club member to help. Something as simple as taking an extra second to look at what you’re throwing away can make a difference.

The recycling PSA was produced by students in Fortuna High’s AMP — Art, Media & Production class. AMP gives students hands-on opportunities to create real media for our school and community, including video production, photography, graphic design, marketing, and other creative projects.
This collaboration gave AMP students a chance to use their media skills for a real campus need while helping Creeks Club spread the word about responsible recycling.
