It was an emotional and memorable evening for the Fortuna High Girls Soccer team on Tuesday, October 13, as the Huskies celebrated Senior Night 2026 with their families, friends, and teammates before taking on Ferndale High School in their final league home game of the season.

Senior Night is always a special occasion, giving the Fortuna High community an opportunity to recognize the student-athletes who have dedicated years to their sport, built lasting friendships, and represented the Huskies on the soccer field.

💙 Celebrating Our Senior Huskies

Before the match, each senior was invited onto the field alongside their family and friends for a special recognition ceremony.

As the players gathered, the announcer read personal messages from each senior, sharing their future plans, favorite memories from their high school soccer careers, and heartfelt thank-yous to the people who supported them along the way.

From parents and family members to coaches, teammates, and friends, the ceremony was a reminder that high school athletics are about much more than wins and losses. They’re about the relationships, experiences, and memories that stay with students long after graduation.

For the Class of 2027, it was one of those moments that marked the beginning of the end of their high school soccer journey.

🏆 Huskies Shut Out Ferndale 2–0

After the Senior Night festivities, the Fortuna Huskies took the field against Ferndale High School and delivered a 2–0 victory.

Fortuna found the back of the net twice while keeping Ferndale off the scoreboard, giving the team a shutout win in its final league home game of the season.

It was a fitting way to celebrate the seniors, with a victory in front of their families, friends, and the Fortuna High community.

📸 Capturing the Memories

Our Fortuna High Photo & Design photographers were there to document the evening, capturing the Senior Night ceremony, family photos, emotional moments, and action from the game.

While the Huskies celebrated a 2–0 victory, the biggest highlight of the evening was recognizing the seniors who have given so much to the Fortuna High Girls Soccer program.

Congratulations to our Class of 2027 Girls Soccer seniors! Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and the memories you’ve created throughout your time at Fortuna High. We can’t wait to see where life takes you next.

💙🤍 Once a Husky, always a Husky! 🐾⚽
