💧 New Hydration Station Opens at Husky Field

Interact & Rotary Partnership Brings New Resource to Fortuna High

Fortuna High celebrated the ribbon cutting of a new Hydration Station located at the gate of Husky Field, the result of a community partnership between the Fortuna High Interact Club, Fortuna Noon Rotary Club, and Fortuna Sunrise Rotary Club.

The project was completed under the leadership of Interact Club President Zoie Thomsson, with Interact students and local Rotarians working together to bring the idea to campus. Fortuna High also supported the project by helping with the installation of the new station.

Located right at the entrance to Husky Field, the Hydration Station will provide students, athletes, staff, and visitors with convenient access to drinking water and a place to refill reusable water bottles during games, practices, school activities, and other events on the field.

🤝 Service Above Self

The project is a great example of what can happen when students, school staff, and community organizations work together. Interact gives Fortuna High students opportunities to develop leadership skills while completing service projects that make a real difference at their school and throughout the community.

A special thank you to Zoie Thomsson and the Fortuna High Interact Club, Fortuna Noon Rotary, Fortuna Sunrise Rotary, Fortuna High, and everyone who contributed their time, resources, and support to make the Hydration Station possible.

💙 A Lasting Addition to Husky Field

This new Hydration Station is more than a convenient place to fill a water bottle—it represents student leadership, community service, and the strong partnerships that continue to support Fortuna High.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life!

Go Huskies! 💙🐾
