Right before heading into winter break, Fortuna High came together for the second holiday rally of the season β a festive send-off packed with laughter, creativity, and plenty of Husky pride.
The rally doubled as Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, with students and staff showing up in their boldest, brightest, and most over-the-top holiday looks. During the event, the results of the door decorating contest were announced, along with totals from the canned food drive, celebrating the hard work and generosity of our school community.
One of the standout moments of the rally was a crowd-favorite activity: a holiday sleigh ride. Students climbed onto tables flipped upside down to form the βsleigh,β while classmates laid beneath and helped slide it across the gym floor β creating equal parts teamwork, chaos, and laughter.
The event was led by the Fortuna High ASB Leadership team, with Mr. Husky (aka Mr. Couch) bringing energy, humor, and holiday cheer to the entire gym.
