The Fortuna High Boys Golf team competed at the scenic Baywood Golf Course in Bayside, taking on the course in a match that combined strong play with classic Humboldt County weather.
It was a cloudy day with a light sprinkle, but the conditions only added to the atmosphere of the course — surrounded by towering redwood trees, rolling greens, and peaceful water features that made for a stunning backdrop.
The Huskies performed well throughout the match, with Lucas Butler entering play seated 4th and Cooper McWhorter ranked among the top 10, highlighting the strength and consistency of the team this season.
