Fortuna High celebrated its Girls and Boys Basketball seniors during a special Senior Night ceremony at the Damon Gym, bringing together teammates, families, and fans to recognize the dedication and accomplishments of the Class of 2026.
Before the games, each senior athlete was escorted onto the court by their family, friends, and supporters while the announcer shared personal messages written by the students. These reflections included thank-yous to coaches, teammates, teachers, and family members, as well as a look ahead at their future plans after high school.
The ceremony was a meaningful moment to pause and celebrate the leadership, effort, and passion these athletes have brought to Fortuna High basketball throughout their time in the program.
Following the recognition, the Huskies took the court for the evening’s games, cheered on by a packed gym full of proud supporters.
