📚 School News & Reminders

Yearbooks Now $76
Yearbooks are officially on sale for $76. Students can personalize two custom pages for free.
Important deadlines:
Custom Pages & Baby Ads: April 5
Senior Photos & Quotes: March 1
Email senior photos (with student name) to srios@fuhsdistrict.net. Photos will appear in the Senior Submitted section; quotes will appear under formal senior portraits.

School Blood Drive – November 19
Fortuna High will host a campus blood drive on Tuesday, November 19, from 8:30 AM–3 PM.
Sign-ups are available in the office. Students must be at least 16 years old, and 16-year-olds must bring a signed parent/guardian consent form.

FFA Tri-Tip Dinner – November 18
Support Fortuna FFA by purchasing a pre-sale tri-tip dinner for your family:
• Price: $60 (feeds 4)
• Includes: whole tri-tip, four baked potatoes, rolls & cookies
• Pickup: November 18, 5–7 PM
Tickets available from FFA/Ag students.

FFA Monthly Meeting – November 17
The FFA November meeting will be held in the theater at 7 PM. Students are encouraged to wear cozy flannels and bring their FFA passports.

Humboldt Holiday Food Drive
Leadership has kicked off the annual Holiday Food Drive, running until December 11.
Students can donate cans and non-perishable items to their Advisory classes. The Advisory class with the most total pounds of food wins free tickets to the January Semi-Formal Dance.

Cross Country – HDN League Championships
Fortuna runners delivered huge results:
Mens 5,000 Varsity:
– 2nd place: Juan Ornelas, 16:13.80
Womens 5,000 Varsity:
– 2nd: Madison Ruiz, 22:01.06
– 3rd: Brida Lester, 22:01.94 (PR)
Team Score: Fortuna takes 1st Place Overall for Varsity Girls.

NCS Soccer Playoffs
• Boys Varsity fell to Arcata, 0–2 (Nov. 12)
• Girls Varsity lost to St. Bernard’s, 0–2 (Nov. 5)

NCS Football Playoffs
• Varsity Boys beat Petaluma at home, 42–23 (Nov. 14)
