πŸ“˜ Yearbook Updates

Yearbooks are now $76, and you can still personalize two custom pages for free!

  • Custom Pages & Baby Ads Deadline: April 5, 2026
  • Senior Photos & Quotes Due: March 1, 2026

Email your senior photo and name to srios@fuhsdistrict.net. Photos will go in the Senior Submitted section, and quotes will appear under your formal portraits.


❀️ Blood Drive – November 19

Fortuna High will host a school blood drive on Tuesday, November 19, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Sign-ups are available in the office. You must be at least 16 years old to donate.
Students aged 16 must bring a signed parent/guardian consent form at the time of donation.


πŸš— Student Parking Reminder

All student drivers must have a valid parking pass to park on campus.
Parking is allowed only in the Student Lot on 12th Street, and police will be patrolling for cars parked without permits or outside the designated area. Stay safe and avoid those tickets, Huskies!


πŸŽ“ Seniors – Cap & Gown Orders

Jim from Ultimate Grad will be on campus Monday, November 4, at 8 AM to collect cap and gown order forms.
Be sure to turn in your forms by November 3, or place your order anytime online at ultimategrad.com.
Only the cap and gown unit is required β€” all other accessories are optional.


πŸ’° Cash for College Workshop

The Cash for College Workshop is happening Tuesday, November 5, from 3:20–6:00 PM in the computer lab.
Seniors and families can get hands-on help completing their FAFSA or CADAA applications for college or career school.
Submit your financial aid application by March 2 and meet with a Cal-SOAP Success Coach twice for a chance to win a $1,000 Cal-SOAP Scholarship.

Support our Ag program at the Fortuna FFA Drive-Thru Tri-Tip Dinner on November 18, from 5–7 PM.
Each dinner serves a family of four and includes:

  • A whole tri-tip
  • Four baked potatoes
  • Dinner rolls
  • Cookies for dessert

It was another exciting week for Fortuna High Athletics!

  • Football: The Varsity Huskies defeated St. Bernard’s with a final score of 26–18 on Saturday, November 1.
  • Girls Soccer: Tied Arcata High 1–1 on Tuesday, October 28.
  • Boys Soccer: Tied Arcata High 1–1 on Wednesday, October 29.
  • Cross Country:
    • Mens Varsity 5K: 1st – Juan Ornelas (16:03.17)
    • Womens Varsity 5K: 2nd – Madison Ruiz (21:51.07, PR), 4th – Elizabeth Stevens (22:26.21), 5th – Brida Lester (22:34.38)
