Our Photo & Design students are back with a twisted new short film β Sweet 16: Blood & Balloons. This original student-produced slasher is a playful yet creepy tribute to classic horror with a high school twist.
The story follows a group of teens who gather to celebrate a classmateβs 16th birthday in what should be a fun, over-the-top party. But when a mysterious masked figure crashes the celebration, the balloons arenβt the only thing popping β and the night quickly spirals into chaos, screams, and bloodshed.
From writing and acting to filming, editing, and sound, our students created this film start to finish β bringing their storytelling, practical effects, and dark humor to life in every scene.
